Enzymolytic Hanoverian!

I gave the blog a new theme. To be honest I don't think this sci-fi-ish theme really fits Flying Hare Entertainment but I already made the logo and thought it was probably time for a change anyway. Maybe I'll redo the whole again some day.

Any-freakin'-way I found some clips from an old movie me and Benjamin made and the whole movie is kind of too low quality for us to put up but maybe if I get around to it I'll make some random stuff from the clips.

Cardboard meets Vynil

I made a turntable out of cardboard and used a cone made of paper with needle. I later used a lazy susanne type thing but I thought this picture was funny cause it's a cardboard box. And you can even "scratch" the record but with a high risk of actually scratching the record (Not that it matters to me since I don't have a way to actually play the record.) By the way if anyone cares the record is "Fresh Aire II" by Mannheim Steamroller, which I might actually look up on iTunes some time.

My mad skills

So I got this program called liveswif that was made to be a cheap alternative to flash 5 but than the company that made it dissolved and now it's a free alternative to flash 5. The new banner at the top is made with that program... it's supposed to take you to our face book and our other blog... but it doesn't. oh well maybe I'll make another one that's some sort of cool animation.

Update: I clicked the buttons again on a different computer and they actually do work.

Update: It was because it used an older version of flash, but now it doesn't matter 'cause it's gone...

Movies and such...

We were in the process of making a movie last week, but we didn't get it done and now Benjamin is at college again. The good news is that now we have a movie plot and cast and all we have to do is film it. Someday we might actually make a movie.

I've been messing around with a program called "The Gimp." It's the poor man's photoshop. It's not quite as good as photoshop but it's still prett good, and it's better than MSpaint, and best of all it's frêê. Yes that's right, both of those e's are wearing asian hats.

Idle hands are the FHE workshop.

Sorry about the fact that we haven't made a movie yet. At this point, it is completely my fault due to the fact that I'm the one who has to do the animation. The good news is that I have some free time so I'll probably start working on it tomorrow.

Amination!

Okay so I guess I'm going to need to animate Bernie pretty soon. I've been in school so I've been maybe a slight bit busier but aLOT mor tired, but don't worry I will get to it as soon as humanly possiblê. so get ready to hang on the edge of your seat for an action pack thrilling heart pounding adrenaline pumping simple animation!

Okay so we're either make the 3 bros. or a stop motion music video for "Smile no one cares how you feel" by the gothic archies (good song) OR something so awesome and hilarious that I can't tell you what it is because i don't want you to steal the idea or anything but it would probably be only 10 seconds long so we could send it to Indy Mogul. We're not really sure i don't think.
Anyway I think in the meantime you should entertain yourself by reading about James Ensor a famous Belgian expressionist painter. Dig him up and shake his hand... appreciate the man.

Two thingsb

I have two things to say: First, we are making a movie about the Three Brothers from the Tales of Beetle the Bard, Because we don't have enough time to make the steampunk movie from scratch and we already have most of the script for the three bros.

secondly, I made this... It looks terrible because the computer I used doesn't have any photoshoppish programs so I had to use MSPaint, but you have to admit it's pretty funny.

Guess what! We're in the preproduction stage of a movie!!! Yes, I do think this deserves three exclamation points.

Scud: The Disposable Assassin

I recently purchased a book through the magic of the internet bought a copy of "Scud: The whole shebang" for $19 including shipping as opposed to the $29.99 that it goes for without shipping. Now I know what you're thinking, "He only capitalized two words of the title!" But if you weren't thinking that and you didn't know who Scud was you'd be thinking "Who is this disposable assassin?" well... here you go... I'm not sure how this effects Flying Hare Entertainment but it probably will actually... when we make a movie...

Woah...

Don't worry guys, I'm not dead. Although I'm not completely sure that that's all true. Anyway, in the off chance that i don't die; I'm writing a script!

BTW: the aforementioned movie probably won't be posted because it's not really that great. We mainly just wanted to make a movie and finish it for once... it's not finished...

So today me and Benjamin filmed a movie. It's not much but it's kind of funny and it was fun to make. It just needs some editing and then it'll be done.

Indy Mogul

So yesterday (technically late at two day's ago) i found a show on youtube called Indy Mogul backyard FX which shows you how to make props and effects for movies for a small budget (I think they only go as high as $50 usually, and usually it's around $20-$30.) So I've been watching that all yesterday and hopefully some day I'll make a wicked awesome movie because of them.

In addition to that i also found some movie editing software called Zwei-Stein. It's free and better than any movie software i've ever used in my life. You can do Chroma Keying (And it's other key relatives) and you can add color effects and different layers and stuff... I really need to make a movie.

So anyway, next time your on youtube look up "Indy Mogul."

So I'm working on a song. Nothing fancy, just run of the mill drum and bass. For those who may not know, drum and bass is not a song with only drums and a bass but that is what the emphasis is on. I probably would put some guitar in it but my left wrist was sprained on sunday and I'm just finally becoming able to play my guitar again.

So yeah that'll be later today probably just so this site isn't completely empty.
